Well, we began another season of competitive senior softball here in Port St Lucie. We had a terrible first month, with 5 of our double headers being postponed because of rain or unplayable field conditions. But luckly, the rains stopped and we are presently making up those postponed games.

Just signed in to see anything new since I was here last, not much traffic for this site. I would like to see a lot of comments so we can discuss them. I would like to see this because I am in Connectcut this winter and all my ball player friends hide until the spring. I need to keep in touch.

Very Nice Senior Softball Website! Like yourselves our 350+ members are staying young at heart while enjoying the fun, fellowship & fitness that comes with playing. Just like Florida in Houston we get to play year round. What ... a ... blast! Have Fun! * Feel free to add Houston's premier Senior Softball League 'HCSSL' website link if you like. * Harris County Senior Softball League 'HCSSL' - Houston http://eteamz.active.com/HCSSL

I want to take this time to say thank-you to all of the senior softball players, and there wifes for the hospitality you have given Kathleen and i throughout the years we lived here. You are truly all a class act, and i am very proud that i was a part of your softball family. Kathleen and I was leaving the barbecue at the ball field, and as i looked out at the field i told her thats what happens when you go into the corn field and cross that line, you go to softball heaven, and thats where we are now.(field of dreams)God Bless all of you.(Red)

I am completely surprised that your league has survived the last 3 years without a top middleman so I guess I have to again wish all of you a successful, injury free season. Miss you guys. Good Luck. Unfortunately, you have to deal with that shortstop #5 with the big belly. The Good Marino Brother!

Does your league offer any scholarships such as free rent for 3months or so? You have a very nice web site. I hope you will keep it up durning the season so I can keep track of a few guys that I know. Please say hello to Len Bartone, Bob Plessner and Rod Sweet. Len and Bob both play durning the summer in Vernon Ct Senior Softball and Rod I know through the internet and tournaments. From what I hear you have a very good league and travel team. Best wishes for another successful and healthy season. God Bless Marino Silvestri
