WCSA Volunteer Opportunities

 

WCSA is a teaching and participation organization completely run by community members on a volunteer basis.  Without volunteers like you this program cannot exist.  We are looking for more people to help "shoulder the load" of running the wonderful organization that our families, friends and neighbors participate in.  Volunteers are needed in all areas including coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, team parents, referees, concession attendants, fundraising coordinators and other positions.  Please volunteer at least 1 family member for a minimum of 1 hour service.

Snack Shack

Snack Shack Volunteers Needed!
 WCSA is a 100% volunteer organization and we are asking for your help.  Parent volunteers are needed to donate just 1.5 hours of their time for one Saturday this season to staff the Soccer Snack Shack.  Details are below.

 Thank you, in advance, for any help you can provide to this valuable fund-raising activity.
  
 For those of you that are not familiar with the Soccer Snack Shack the following information should be helpful:

  • The coverage shifts are 1.5 hours long and the coordinator will work around your schedule
  • The WCSA Snack Shack is located in the small building between the soccer fields at the Waynesboro Sportsplex
  • The money raised benefits ALL the teams and fields used by WCSA
  • Parents are encouraged to bring their 'soccer kid' (or any kid over 8) to help.
  • The WCSA Snack Shack sells coffee, tea, hot cocoa, soda, Gatorade, water, and assorted treats and snacks.  It is really very easy!  Since we do not have running water we are limited to packaged items.

Your help is needed - we cannot do this without you!
