2015 CAA Knights Roster Complete - What's on the Schedule?
The 2015 CAA Knight's roster is final. We will be starting practices on Friday, September 12th and will start having scrimmage games the next Saturday. Please use the "Knights Schedule" link to find out what's ahead. In preparation for the season, all of the players should be working on the following:
(1) I want all of the boys to throw a long toss session outside every four days to get their arms stronger.
(2) I'd like everyone to go outside and catch at least 50 fly balls a week.
(3) I want everyone to purchase a tee and start taking 100 swings a week following this document:

2017 15U CAA Knights Travel Baseball Tryouts
The 2017 15U CAA Knights Travel Baseball team will be holding tryouts at Trinity United Methodist Church (Dickey Field), 2100 Westchester Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228 on these dates:
- • Monday, August 8th at 6:00 PM
- • Wednesday, August 10th at 6:00 PM
- • Saturday, August 13th at 10:00 AM
A little background about the CAA Knights. Our home field is tucked through the trees near the heart of Oella and has a sense of old time baseball - kind of like when the Babe and Jackie Robinson roamed the lush greens of the diamond. As in year’s past, we will be competing at the highest level in the Mid-Atlantic Baseball Association (MABA). We are looking for experienced players who would like to compete and continue to improve on their skills. We not only look at overall ability, we look for attributes such as dedication, leadership, commitment, motivation, and sportsmanship. Our philosophy is that the more time you put into it, the more playing time you will receive. This year we’ll focus on off-season conditioning and players will have free access to a comprehensive exercise gym in Catonsville. Although we’ve achieved much success in the past, our main goal is to prepare players for high school and beyond. We have been blessed to have a group of coaches and families that have built a strong bond and commitment to our program and would like more to become a part of it. If we have enough players to sign up for 2017, we could actually have an A and B team that could practice together on a weekly basis so the players could build relationships and a comradery that would strengthen our program all the more. The Knights win the Joppatowne Spring Slugfest Tournament
12U CAA Knights's late runs seal 12-4 blowout over Fallston
A six-run seventh inning sealed a 12-4 win for 12U CAA Knights over Fallston on Saturday at Riverside Elementary School.
Nate Beyer went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for 12U CAA Knights. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.
Fallston couldn't get anything going so long as DJ White was on the hill. Fallston managed just two hits off of W, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his four innings of work.
The game was never in doubt after the second, as 12U CAA Knights scored two runs on two singles.
12U CAA Knights built upon its lead with three runs in the fourth. The inning got off to a hot start when Connor Green singled, bringing home DJ and Rion Durkan. That was followed up by Alec Lienhard's single, scoring Connor.

12U CAA Knights drubs White Marsh Tournament Team, 8-1
White Marsh Tournament Team didn't have a chance on Saturday, as 12U CAA Knights won in blowout fashion, 8-1 in six innings at Riverside Elementary School.
12U CAA Knights scored four runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Adam Bailey, an RBI single by Connor Green, and an RBI single by Alec Lienhard.
Adam went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for 12U CAA Knights.
Alex Sulin put together a nice outing. Alex held White Marsh Tournament Team hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.
The game's last lead went to 12U CAA Knights thanks to a first inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on two singles.

12U CAA Knights defeats Fallston after late game bases loaded walk, 10-6
12U CAA Knights outlasted Fallston on Sunday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 10-6 win at Riverside Elementary School.
12U CAA Knights finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fourth inning. A bases loaded walk by Connor Green scored Mitchell Fischer and gave 12U CAA Knights the lead for good.
Dallas Evans went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for 12U CAA Knights. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fourth inning.
DJ White got the win for 12U CAA Knights. He tossed three innings of shutout ball. DJ struck out two, walked two and gave up two hits.
12U CAA Knights jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. 12U CAA Knights' offense woke up as Dallas singled before Adam Bailey singled, plating Dallas. 12U CAA Knights then tacked on more runs when B scored on a groundout by Nick Eiswert.
12U CAA Knights never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning. The runs piled on thanks to two doubles and a two-run single by Nate Beyer.
One run in the top of the sixth helped Fallston close its deficit to 10-6. An RBI single by PlayerA set off Fallston rally. PlayerC struck out to end the Fallston threat.

Offenses dominate as 12U CAA Knights outscores Joppatowne 9-8
The bats were busy at Riverside Elementary School on Sunday, and when the dust cleared 12U CAA Knights had a 9-8 win over Joppatowne in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 30 hits in the game.
The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to four lead changes in the game.
Alex Sulin got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.
Mitchell Fischer got the win for 12U CAA Knights. He allowed two runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered two hits.
12U CAA Knights' Nick Eiswert, Connor Green and Alex combined for seven hits and six RBIs.
Joppatowne jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first. PlayerA kicked things off for Joppatowne with a single. A single by PlayerB then moved PlayerA from first to second. PlayerD singled, scoring PlayerA. Joppatowne then tacked on more runs when PlayerB and PlayerC scored on a two-run single by PlayerF and PlayerD scored on an RBI single by PlayerH.
12U CAA Knights pushed across one run in both the second inning and the fourth. In the second, 12U CAA Knights scored on an RBI single by Connor, bringing home Mitchell.
Joppatowne brought home one run in the fifth inning, and matched that run total in the seventh. In the fifth, Joppatowne scored on a wild pitch, scoring PlayerC.
12U CAA Knights tied the game in the sixth on a steal of home.
After a quick strike from Joppatowne, 12U CAA Knights responded with two runs in the seventh. 12U CAA Knights scored on a two-run double by Connor.

I've updated the Knights Schedule Page to include all of our season games, as well as our practice schedule. Take a look.
Preliminary League Division Breakouts Have Been Released
The 12U coordinator has released the preliminary teams that we will be competing against. I have updated the Teams/Rosters link to include them all.
Preliminary Season Schedule Info Released
The information below was just released to managers in our league by the 12U coordinator:
- The regular season will start (most likely) on Thursday, April 3rd.
- We will likely also play the weekend of April 5-6 and again on Thursday April 10th.
- We will not schedule any games from April 11th through the 20th. Play will resume again after Easter on Thursday April 24th.
- The last regular season game will be scheduled on Sunday June 15th.
New Principles of Hitting Tutorial is Available
