BREAKING: The NSWL has to regretfully decline the option to submit an application to enter the NWLA Regional Tournament. With the expansion and new format it was deemed too difficult to schedule this season and also attend regionals. There is too much uncertainty surrounding the upcoming schedule that we could simply not risk not finishing our own season. 

If this year goes as planned the NSWL will sumbit an application for regionals for the 2017 season. 

BREAKING: The NSWL has been accepted into the national rankings with the NWLA after review of our application. The NWLA ranks wiffleball leagues from around the country and splits them up into four regions, the East, South, Central and West. The NSWL is now part of the East Region and is the 70th team to be accepted into the organization. We are one of 26 teams in the East and the only from the CNY area. 

The NWLA also has a regional tournament that the NSWL will review and may apply for a spot come mid-summer. This one of, if not the biggest wiffleball showcases of the summer. 

North Syracuse, NY-- After the divisional format announcement this past week, the draft date will be released this upcoming week. This will set the time, date and location of the 2016 draft. This will also be the first draft in league history with 12 teams. After the expansion to 12 teams, two conferences and four divisions there will be 24 players selected to complete the three person roster. 

The draft order is also rumored to be released in the near future, but nothing has been confirmed officially.
