Registration is now open for the 2024 KMBA season.
Spots are limited and we require payment before your child takes the field. We have had to open a waitlist the last few seasons, and players remain on the waitlist until they are paid.
We are looking forward to another great season of baseball and we'll be in need of several coaches and volunteers.
13U A WIN TUBBY MELANSON MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
Congratulations to the 13U A team who played their hearts out and in Moncton last weekend in the Tubby Melanson Memorial Tournament. They started the tournament off with a win over the Hammonds Plain A’s with a final score of 19-6 on Friday night. Saturday, they faced the 14U Girls NB provincial team at 12pm and walked away with a big 10-1 win. Next, they faced another NB team from Kennebecasis Valley, picking up their third win in round robin, 15-2.
With three big wins the Wildcats came out as the number one seed and moved onto the Semis. Sunday at 10am they faced a very tough Bluenose division rival in the Tri County Rangers. It was a battle to the end with both teams batting and pitching very well. The Wildcats pulled off a 9-8 win to advance to the championship game at 2pm. In the other semi finals two other Bluenose League rivals battled it out to make it to the finals.
The Wildcats faced the Yarmouth Gateways AA in another battle to the end in the final, winning the game 19-15. With amazing batting, pitching, and defensive plays, the Wildcats came home with the tournament win. Head Coach Travis Cox, Assistant Coach Dale Sanford and Assistant Coach Justin McLaughlin are beyond proud of the effort and resilience these boys showed during the tournament, never giving up and fighting until the end.
