Coaches should foster good core team values and promote skill building techniques for every player. There will be a league tournament at the end of the season where every team will have a chance to compete and put these skills to work. The intent is that every player has fun during the regular season while learning the game so that they are prepared to handle the competitiveness of the tournament. For those teams in the 9-11 age bracket as well as the 12-14 year old brackets who want to take their talents to the next level of competitiveness, several NFL teams will host NFL Flag regional tournaments next October/November. Any team who has played NFL Flag football in 2010 will be allowed to play in any of these regional tournaments. Winners of the regional tournaments will be invited to attend the National NFL Flag tournament at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida in late November. All travel and lodging expenses for those winning teams will be paid by the NFL National Championship.
