Denville PAL Cheerleading

The Denville PAL (Police Athletic League) Cheerleading program is a recreational volunteer-based organization that pours any proceeds back into the program. The Program is run by a committee of volunteers to assist in building a safe & fun atmosphere for continued skill based learning of cheerleading. We utilize Teen volunteers from the community with backgrounds in dance and cheer for coaching under the direction of our Coach Coordinator and the guidance of volunteer Adult Coaches and Team Parents.

This recreational town program is available for girls of all levels from Kindergarten through 8th grade.  They cheer during the regular season games for our local football team, the Denville Blue Angels. The participants are split into seven different cheering squads: Minis, Pre-Clinic, Clinic, Super PeeWee, PeeWee, JV, & Varsity.

The squads learn a choreographed halftime routine to be performed at the pep rally and then each week at their games. Practices begin in August and end at the Pep Rally. The games run from Labor Day thru early November. Denville PAL Cheerleaders will also be participating in the Denville Township's Holiday Parade which takes place Thanksgiving weekend.

The program provides practice t-shirts, bows & socks for the girls to keep at the end of the season. Uniforms and pom-poms will be distributed prior to the Pep Rally in late August and get returned in November.

We appreciate your understanding that PAL Cheer requires good sportsmanship and positive support from our parents and cheerleaders.

We look forward to a wonderful season.
