The objectives of the REAA shall be to implant firmly in the boys and girls of our community the principles of good character development, E.G. courage, responsibility, sportsmanship, fair play, leadership, respect for rules and regulations, etc. As well as to foster higher achievement in scholastic activities. To provide a mutual basis for improving the relationship between youths and adults of the community, using the medium of junior athletic contest as the catalyst. Also to teach through supervision and example the principles of sportsmanship and fair play without undue emphasis on winning or losing. This program shall be implemented in such a way as to make no sacrifice to scholastic achievement. Contrarily, it shall be the purpose to teach participants that eligibility for athletic activity is based on satisfactory performance in the classroom.
