Our Organization
Future Stars Athletics is a non-profit organization dedicated toward introducing competitive athletics and providing quality training to youth between the ages of 7 to 18. Since our inception in 2005 we have primarily focused on the sport of Track and Field. Future Stars Track Club currently has 75 athletes on the team roster. The track team is a member of the Three Rivers Youth Association. We compete against other clubs within the association throughout the season in preparation for competition at the Regional Two Championships with the ultimate goal of competing in the National Junior Olympics.
Our Athletes
Future Stars Track Club consist of athletes throughout Western Pennsylvania. Although our athletes come from different communities and school districts, they share the same goal of advancing and competing at Elite Competitions. Many of the athletes participate in other sports such as basketball, football and wrestling. They agree however, that competing in track and field has contributed to their success in other sports. Regardless of the sport our athletes are training to be Future Stars!
Our Coaches
We have a nine member coaching staff that provide quality training in Sprints, Middle/Long Distance, Hurdles, Field Events and Relays. Each athlete has the opportunity to receive quality training within their specialized area. Our coaches are former College and Professional Athletes who are volunteering their time to help Future Stars Athletes earn opportunities to compete at a higher level if they so desire.
Our Parents
As with any organization, parents are the key to success. Future Stars has a very dedicated group of parents who support all of the athletes and believe in the Future Stars organization. Our parents willingly take on the role of surrogate parent’s to ensure every athlete receive the necessary resources to be successful.
Future Stars Athletics
Future Stars Track Club has had a positive impact on its’ athletes and has began to position the organization into a full service entity. Future Stars Track Club has evolved into Future Stars Athletics, offering competition in additional sports in an environment that encourages academic success and prepares each athlete for advancement toward post-secondary education while equipping them with the necessary sills to become well rounded productive citizens.
