Stadium Seating

The stadium was built by private funding in the Fall of 1998. The initial construction of the stadium consisted of foundation and seating. The cover style roofing was added in 2000. The stadium seats came from Engel Stadium (Reds Affiliate,Chattanooga) The stadium provides a great atmosphere for the fans to watch a ballgame.

Hitting Facility

The hitting facility was constructed in 2002. The facility houses lockers, mounds, batting nets, and players lounge.

Back of Stadium

The back of the stadium is complete with restrooms, concession stand, and storage rooms. The bathrooms were constructed in 2004. Concession stand workers may watch the games live from close circuit television.
The baseball playing surface was created in 1989. Coach Jay Smith and players sodded the field using sod from the original surface at Engel Stadium. The same sod that Babe Ruth struck out to a girl playing for the Chattanooga Lookouts. Many famous past time players have stepped foot on this turf. During Michael Brown's tenure at Ridgeland the playing surface was uplifted with the addition of the warning track as well as bull pen mounds located in foul territories were created in 1997. Coach Brent Tucker would remove the mounds and rebuild the bull pen areas on the outside area of the stadium as well as painted the fence along with destruction of the right field 30' wall. The wall existed from 1989-2007. Coach Scott Harden redesigned the cutouts to the original state and resurfaced the infield and warning track in 2008 as well as added panther logos. In 2009-10 Coach Scott Harden would change the metal backstop fencing to a net barrier for clearer view for fans.
