The Jr. Lady Raiders program was founded in 2004 and serves as the feeder teams for the Alpharetta Hign School Lady Raiders basketball program. We field a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls team. Our teams are members of the Cobb County Junior Basketball Conference.  Our teams have consistently ranked in the top 8 in the conference. The 2013/2014 season was the program's best yet. Our 8th grade advanced to the Elite 8, our 7th grade team made the Final Four and our 6th grade team won the championship.  The program focuses on the developing sound fundamentals, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and preparing the girls to compete at the high school level. The program officially starts in November of each year with a combination of region and non-region games and several in-season tournaments ending with the CCJBC tournament in late January.

Our mission is to assist girls to develop the knowledge, skills, and love of the game of basketball.  Our emphasis is to teach, and to provide a consistent and conscientious program, as well as, a support system for Alpharetta High School Ladies Basketball programs, which emphasizes the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play. Our goal is to provide for all female basketball players, the opportunity to strive for achievement and excellence and have fun while learning the game of basketball.
