SINGLE-SEASON
GROSS PRODUCTION AVERAGE
.300 CLUB
(Min. 2.4 Plate Appearances Per Team Games)

GPA is a measurement of a batter's ability to produce runs.  The formula is [(1.8 x OBP) + SLG] / 4.  OBP is On-Base Percentage (H+BB+HP)/(AB+BB+HP+SF), and SLG is Slugging Percentage (Total Bases/AB).  The result can be read just like a batting average.  The All-Time "Top 10" leaders can be found on the Varsity Records page.
