You may need to add or subtract players or coaches during the course of the season.

Note that you do not enter a player ID when adding a player - that is generated automatically when you later 'freeze' the roster.

Adding a player is similar to the initial team rostering process - they need all the same forms filled out, plus a copy of the previos roster stamped by our District Coordinator (DC). Note that if they are transferring in from a different club, they may be required to sit out three games prior to playing - this rule is under review as of 2014 and may change. In that event, note the process below which must be followed by the player's previous team/club.

If a player leaves the team and will not be playing for another team, you do not need to do anything. If, however, they are transferring to another team you must release that player by completing the form on the Registration page of the NJYS website. That form must be signed by the player, and either the coach or club official, and two copies must be provided. All copies of that form, along with the player pass, must be submitted to the DC.
