PERSONAL
Nicole is an alumnus of Claremont High School and played soccer all four years. As a senior she was named Most Valuable Defensive Player and made First Team All-League and All CIF. She continued on to Mt. San Antonio College to play soccer and complete a general ed degree. In the two years she played soccer she was named Best Defensive Player by her team and was given First Team All League Honors. In her second year she was named Team Captain. She finished her soccer career on scholarship at Cal Poly Pomona, under head coach Paul Caligiuri. Nicole is a graduate from Cal Poly Pomona and earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. She also holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. She is now working as an Adapted Physical Education Teacher in the Etiwanda School District. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching her boys in AYSO soccer and Claremont Little League; playing indoor soccer and running. She lives in Claremont and is married to Michael Giles, they have four kids together: Jeremy, Cady, Michael and Charles.
