Coach Timmons’ successes in high school include 4-time District finalist, 3-time District Champion, Regional Champion, 3-time Texas State Wrestling Tournament Qualifier, along with a Cadet Freestyle State Wrestling Championship. Following high school, Coach Timmons officiated the sport for over a decade in the Austin and San Antonio areas.  Coach Timmons was the assistant wrestling coach at LBJ high school for three years from 2015-2017.  During his time there, he helped the program win the Girls Team District Championship all three years and their first Boys District Championship in 2016.  The boys repeated as district champions in 2017.
