The BCCBL would like to congratulate the Long Island Astros for capturing the 2023 Blue Chip Collegiate Baseball League Championship. The Astros was the number four seed in the fourteen team playoffs. The Team went on to defeat the Aviators (#13), Strong (#5), and Seminoles (#9) advancing them to the Championship Game against the #2 seed Titans-Blue. The Titans-Blue defeated Steel (#7) and the Nor'easters (#3) before advancing to face the Astros. The Astros defeated the Titans-Blue in 8 innings by the score of 13-8 to capture the BCCBL Championship.
