Game 1 - Flyers 8 Cubs 7

Recap: The Flyers held on to capture a high scoring affair and defeated the Cubs 8-7. Matt Vrooman pitched three innings in relief for the win. Former Cub Wayne Feltham pitched out of trouble in the bottom of the 7th to earn the save. Clarington scored a run to make it 8-7 in the last inning and had the bases loaded with one out. But Feltham struck out the last two batters to preserve the win. Hunter and Dawson Baker combined for 7 hits and 6 RBIs, with Hunter hitting a home run. Christien Spulnick had two hits and three stolen bases for Clarington.

Game 2 - Flyers 6 Cubs 5

               LP - Liam Story (0-1)
               HR - Skyleuir Coote (Flyers) #1 , Josh Chaulk (Cubs) #1

Recap: The Flyers maintained narrow leads throughout the game and held on for a 6-5 win to sweep the doubleheader. Brendan Tink went the distance for the Flyers. Josh Chaulk homered for the Cubs and Skyleuir Coote added a three-run shot for the Flyers. Yonn Firebrace had 2 hits and RBI for Clarington, while Christien Spulnick added two more hits.

Recap: The Canadians led 8-1 going to the bottom of the 4th but the Orioles came all the way back for the win. John Brady worked the final three innings for the win. Lee Mathe had 3 RBI for Milton.

               LP - Niko Angelakos CG (0-1)

Recap: The Orioles swept behind Steve Jablonski's 7 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out 7. Niko Angelakos was almost as good for the Canadians, going 6 innings and allowing 2 hits.

Martingrove Sox @ Mississauga Southwest Twins was postponed due to a thunderstorm which rendered the field unplayable.

York Diamonds @ Vaughan Vikings was postponed due to wet field conditions.
