The Ian Stronach Memorial Cup
In 1976 Ian Stronach was one of the first sponsors and players in our league. Part way through that year, Ian suffered a mild heart attack and could not continue to play. For the remainder of the season, Ian attended games and supported his team mates, but sadly, Ian passed away later that year.
The Ian Stronach Memorial Cup is awarded to the player each year who demonstrates
sportsmanship, camaraderie and a continuing involvement in the league to ensure it’s success.
"I was delighted and hounoured to get the call from Scuddsy on Awards Night to let me know that I was the recipient of the 2007 Ian Stronach Award.

I will be at next years Awards Night to do my belated acceptance speech at that time.
