• Formed a team and acted as Team Captain for a local American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Event in honor and memory of a close friend’s mom diagnosed with sarcoma cancer. I attended all event meetings, promoted the event and enlisted team members to raise money and join the overnight event. Raised over $1,000 and the team raised over $2,300. Contacted local businesses to donate items leading to more money raised.
