A former pitcher at Luther College in Iowa, Alex will once again be one of the most dangerous arms in the CRBL in 2017. Alex will enter the 2017 season as the reigning CRBL MVP, 2016 WBA Most Valuable Pitcher and has claimed All-CRBL honors in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, setting a CRBL league record of 50 consecutive scoreless innings in 2013 and recording his 300th career strikeout in 2016. He remains one of the top power arms in the state, and one of the premier strike out pitchers in the CRBL. Byom also brings solid defense from the outfield and another good left handed bat to the Wolves lineup.
