- Senegal coach Moustapha Gaye has announced his 15-strong preliminary squad for the FIBA World Championship for Women.
Among those included are high-scoring Aya Traoré, the leading scorer in the side that went undefeated at last year’s Afrobasket Women in Madagascar.
Traoré poured in 26 points in the Semi-Final triumph over the Ivory Coast that clinched a spot in the FIBA World Championship for Women, and then had 19 in the title game victory over defending champions Mali.(read more at link above...)
