Saturday morning was spent sightseeing. We took a bus around the city stopping at Casa Milo and Casa Batllo. We then spent an hour walking through the Sagarda Familia. The the Sagarda Familia was so amazing that we had to drag a couple of the players out.
Afterwards the focus was switched back to soccer as we took on the A team of CF Moillet, whose B team beat us 5-3 the day before. We played hard defense the first half but a rocket from outside the box put us down 1-0. The second half the team came out fighting and late in the game Will Simmons scored to even it up. The results and the intensity of play were a good way to finish up out friendlies.
The next day we left Barcelona for San Sebastián and the Donasti Cup. The eight hour bus ride was strenuous to say the least, but we arrived in one piece.
The tournament check in gave us a chance to check out our opponents and, despite lacking the matching polos of our opponents, we are feeling confident.
