The Seals open the season on a road trip beginning tonight against the Lancaster Rattlers. The Rattlers have struggled in their first three games of the season with three losses against the Ventura Fusion, San Jose Frogs, and San Fernando Quakes.
"While the Rattlers have not yet won a match," noted Tom Simpson, Seals GM and Coach, "they have shown that they can be dangerous. I saw them against the Frogs, and there were several times when they just got unlucky."
The game against the Rattlers will be held at Palmdale High School in Palmdale, at 7:30pm.
Tomorrow, Sunday May 13th at 4:00pm, the Seals have their second match of the season against the Fresno Fuego. "The Fuego are always a tough match. They always come to play," said Simpson. The Fuego sit tied for first place with six points in the Western Conference's Southwest Division. "They opened the season with a loss against the Brigade, but went on to win their next two matches (the So. Cal. Seahorses, and LA Storm)," Simpson went on to say, "and we have to go in there after a match against the Rattlers, and a three hour drive up to Fresno. But, we will go there with the attitude to win."
Directions to both matches can be found through our website off the Schedule & Results page, or on the Directions page.
