PDL All-Conference Teams Announced

44 players honored for outstanding play this season
TAMPA, FL – United Soccer Leagues announced Friday the Premier Development League All-Conference Teams as voted on by team coaches and general managers, honoring 44 of the league’s top players for their play in the 2007 season.  Thirty teams were represented by the 44 players selected to the Central, Eastern, Southern and Western All-Conference Teams.  While the Seals did not have a player selected for the Western All-Conference Team, goal keeper Eric Conner was the top vote recipient for the Seals.
 
Eric had an outstanding season, and was voted to the PDL Team of the Week during the season (see story here).  His statistics were very impressive:
  • Eric had a 1.153 GAA in 13 games with the Seals this season. 
  • His GAA was the lowest in the Conference with 10 or more games played,
  • His GAA was lowest among goalies who played 90 minutes of every match who had at least 3 matches played
  • He faced 129 shots, and had 51 saves on the season. 
We will be keeping an eye on Eric's carreer!
