SF Seals vs. Califronia Gold in Home Opener Today!

May 13, 2006
Following a stunning come-from-behind road win, the San Francisco Seals open the home portion of their 2006 PDL season this Saturday at the College of Alameda at 2 pm. Led by Coach Tom Simpson and PDL Team of the Week member John Colan, the Seals take on the California Gold. Playing a fluid and attacking style, the Seals bounced back from a 2 goal halftime deficit to carry the second half.

Colan’s winner was a stunning free kick late in injury-time. Colan, a forward who was converted from a defensive back just last year, was named to the United Soccer League’s PDL Team of the Week after his two goal performance last Saturday evening against Fresno.

Tickets for the game in Alameda are $7 for youth/seniors and $9 for adults. Merchandise will also be available for purchase.

Tailgating is allowed, but the Seals and the College of Alameda ask you to please clean your area after you are done so that the area stays clean.

Food and beverages are not allowed inside the stadium.

Season ticket plans will be available for purchase at the gate (no credit cards will be accepted at the game).
