The Orange County Blue Star spoiled the Seals return to Negoesco Stadium with a solid 1-0 victory.  Orange County hardly looked like a team playing its second road match in as many days. 

The Blue Star controlled much of the play in the first half and their efforts were rewarded with a goal in the 37th minute by Anthony Hamilton.  The Blue Star were denied by the post on two other occasions as they continued to apply the pressure on the Seals' goal.  

In the second half, the Seals attempted to mount a rally in search of the equalizer but were unable to finish a few good chances.  Carlos Diaz provided the Seals best opportunity with a bending free kick from 35 yards which was pushed aside for a corner by the Blue Star keeper.

 

The Seals return to action this Saturday night with a road match in Modesto against the California Gold.
