Round 1

The girls started the tournament with a win in round 1 vs woodies(red) 9-8. Both teams came out the gate with three runs each in the first inning and neither scored in the second. But Sigma came out in the fifth and scored 5 runs to take a 8 to 3 lead. Sigma scored one more in the 4th to give them 9 runs. Woodies attempted a comeback in the bottom of the forth scoring 4 making it a 9-8 game and that's how it would end. The top of the order did most of our damage Mierah motz and Stella Rybiki(including 2 doubles) had three hits a piece. Abby Wildauer and Emma Rybiki each had two hits. Emma Rybiki had three rbis Stella Rybiki and Brooke Reed each had two rbis Josie Wildauer and Mikea Byer had one each. Abby Contreras,Josie and Mikea each had one hit. 

Round 2 vs Ace 

The girls faced off against the leagues top team in Ace Hardware( lightblue) in the second game of the day. Sigma had won both previous games against Ace wich were there only two loses. The girls stated a little slow but made a comeback scoring one run in the 2nd 1 run in the 3rd and then 4 in the 5th to tied the game at 6 runs apiece for each team. Extra inning rules applied with a runner starting at 2nd bases one each team's turn Ace was able to bring there run in the top of the 6th but Sigma came up short losing by that bone run. 

The girls picked up 16 hits in this game. Stella Rybiki lead the team with 3 hits but right behind her was Sydney Doyle,Abby Wildauer,Emma Rybiki,Abby Contreras, and Mikea Byer each had 2 hits. Josie Wildauer,Maddi Ford and Brooke Reed each had 1 hit in the game. Mikea Byer had 2rbis. Josie,Abby C,Brooke and Emma each had 1 rbi. and Abby Wildauer had our only extra base hit with a double.

Round 3 vs America legion 

In the girls last game of the day was no less exciting then the last game this game would end in extra innings for the second straight game. In this game America legion(green) came out hot and scored 6 runs in the first two innings 2 in the first and 4 in the second but would not score again for the rest of the game. Sigma would chip away at the lead scoring 1 in the 1st and 2 in the 3rd to make it 6-3. Some where between the 4th and fifth inning the kids were notified that a win in the game would lead to a trip to Dairy Queen. And that may have done the trick Sigma would score three runs in the 5th to tie the game but being the away team had to hold Legion in the bottom half. The sixth innin would start with extra inning rules and Abby Contreras starting at Second base. And with two outs Elissa Borsodi would drive Abby in for the go ahead run.

I. The bottom of the inning some awesome defense would help the girls hold it down. With a double play turned by Brooke Reed catching a pop fly and throwing to Stella Rybiki for the second out at third. Brooke also had a great catch in left field in a previous inning. Stella Rybiki had three hits including a double. Abby Wildauer,Emma Rybiki,Brooke Reed, and Josie Wildauer had two hits. Mierah motz,Abby Contreras and Elissa borsodi(game winning) had a hit each. The Rybiki twins each had a double each. Emma lead the team with 3rbis. Stella,Brooke and Elissa each had an rbi.

Game 10

The final regular season game of the year would place Sigma vs American Legion(green) for the final time. Just like game one vs green Sigma controlled the game from the first two innings scoring two in the first and 4 more in the second jumping out to a 6-0 lead green would add a run in the 4th and a run in the 5th giving them 2 runs. Sigma would add a run in the bottom of the 5th giving Sigma a 7-2 lead and the final score. Mierah motz lead us off in the leadoff spot with three hits. Abby Wildauer, Emma Rybiki,AbbyContreras,Josie Wildauer each had two hits. Stella Rybiki,Brooke Reed,Mikea Byer and Elissa borsodi each had a hit. Stella lead with 2rbis. Mierah,Emma,Brooke,Abby C and Elissa each with 1rbi. The girls will start the end of the year tournament on June 25th.

Game 9

Today the girls played a heart breaker with a bad 3rd and 4th inning. Sigma would jump out to a 6-3 lead in the first two innings. They would score 4 more in the 3rd and giving them a 10-4 lead as the visiting team. Woodies would come back with a huge 3rd inning scoring 7 runs and creating a tie 10-10 in the bottom of the 3rd. Sigma would fail to score in the top of the 4th and woodies would seal the deal with 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th and helped with the time limit being called. 

Abby Contreras,Emma Rybiki,Abby Wildauer and Stella Rybiki would each have three hits. Mikea Byer,Josie Wildauer,and Mierah motz each had two hits and Maddi Ford would have a hit. Stella would tie her sister Emma and Abby Wildauer with 4 rbis in a game. Emma would have three of her own rbis. Mierah,Abby W,and Abby C each had an rbi.

Game 8

Sigma would run into American legion(green) for the firs time . Sigma would be in control of this game from the beginning being the away team. Sigma would score 1 run in the 1st 2 in the 2nd 1 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th giving them 6 runs. America legion wouldn't score until the bottom of the 5th scoring 2 runs. The girls would pull of the 6-2 win and make them 4-4 on the season.

Mierah Motz and Brooke Reed would lead with three hits each. Stella Rybiki,Emma Rybiki and Josie Wildauer each had two hits. Abby Wildauer,Abby Contreras and Mikea Byer each had one hit. Emma had 3rbis. Mierah,Abby C and Josie each had 1 rbi a piece. 

Game 7

Sigma would face off against Woodies(red) for the first time this season. Both team would come out scoring. Sigma came out swinging with 5 runs in the first and woodies responded with 4 of there own but would be all they could score for this game. Sigma would add 2 runs s in the 2nd 2 in the 3rd and 1 run in the 5th. Leaving the final score 10-4 in Sigma's favor. The girls popped off with 22 hits. Abby Wildauer would have an amazing 4 hits . Stella Rybiki would have three hits all extra base hits with 2 doubles and a triple and 3 rbis. Emma Rybiki and Brooke Reed would have three hits. Mierah motz,Abby Contreras and Josie Wildauer had two hits each. Mikea Byer and Maddi Ford would each have a hit. Emma Rybiki would tie Abby Wildauer with 4rbis in one game so far in our early season. Brooke,Josie and Mikea would have one rbi each.

Game5

The girls had two loses back to back against La Parilla (dark blue). In game 1 the girls had one bad inning defensively in the first inning and Gabe up 4 runs. But only gave up 2 runs the rest of the game. Stella Rybiki, maddi Ford,Abby Contreras and Brooke Reed led the team with two hits each. Maddi,Abby C, and Brooke each had an Rbi. But the girls came up short losing 6-3

Game 6

The second game(6/3/22) was no cake walk either LA Parilla came to hit and put a hurting on the girls. Scoring 14 runs in the game. Emma Rybiki had two hits each and scored two runs each. Stella Rybiki hit back to back Triples even though the second was a hone run that was called back to the age group rules. Mierah motz,Abby Wildauer,Maddi Ford,Brooke Reed, Abby Contreras and Josie Wildauer each had a hit a piece.

GAME 4

Tonight these girls came to play after a slow start last game. Tonight every girl played a role in this win vs Ace hardware(light blue). Weather it be Elissa borsodi moving the runner over in the later innings or the girls defense tonight with very few mistakes. Sigma jumped out to a three run lead in the top of the first and never lost the lead threw the entire game. Mierah motz is still strong in the leadoff role where she had three more hits tonight and took over the team lead in hits with 13. But not far behind tonight was Brooke Reed, Emma Rybiki,Stella Rybiki(2 doubles),and Abby Wildauer with two hits a piece. Sydney Doyle,Josie Wildauer,and Abby Contreras each had a hit a piece. The Rybiki girls drove in 5 of the 8 runs tonight (emma2 Stella 3). Mieka Byer,Jodie Wildauer and Maddi Ford drove in one each. Emma pitched the last two innings of this game giving up zero runs on the night. The girls will take a small holiday weekend brake but will have three games next week where they play LA Parilla June 2nnd and 3rd and then play sunda June 5th.

Game #3 

This game started slow for the girls not alot of chatter or pep in their step. The girls failed to score in either of the first two innings but BCI(yellow) came out swinging and scored six runs. They added three runs in the 3rd to give them a 9-0 lead. The girls decided to score some runs of their own with 2 in the 3rd and 4 in the forth inning but the game was called due to time. The girls fought back hard but came up just short. Brooke Reed lead the team with three hits today. Abby Contreras,Mierah motz,Stella and Emma Rybiki, and Abby Wildauer(including a double) each had 2 hits. Abby Contreras and Emma Rybiki each had two ribs each. 

GAME 1

The girls first game of the season had some great results in the field and on the basepaths with the girls running through first and made some plays in the field. These may not be major victories but they are positive steps forward. The girls played Bci(yellow) but Bci had some games already under their belt and had a little less rust on them. Emma Rybiki,Maddi Ford, And Mierah motz lead the team with two hits each. Sydney Doyle drove in two runs. While Mierah motz and Mikea Byer both hit in a run each as well. Sadly the girls lost 14-4 but will play game two later today to hopefully split the day.

GAME 2

The second game of today's double head was a success all around. The team had 18 total hits against Ace hardware(lite blue). The offense was lead in this game by Abby Wildauer with three hits and 4 runs batted in. The Rybiki twins Emma and Stella each had three hits each and scored 5 runs between them. Maddi Ford had 3 hits and 3 runs batted in. Brooke Reed and Mierah motz had two hits with Mierah scoring all three times she reached today. And to round out the offense Mikea Byer and Abby Contreras each had a hit a piece. The girls did great today and ended the week with a 1-1 record for the season. They will take on BCI again on Tuesday and look for a better outcome in that match.  

Hello everyone my name is Eric Doyle and I will be the girls head coach this season. I'm originally from Missouri where I played baseball for aprox 25 yrs. I hope to teach the girls some things as well as get the basics down and have fun. My daughter is Sydney who will be playing with your girls this year. I'm hoping we can learn to play as a team and win games in the process. My goal is to teach the girls the fundamentals for those that are new to the game and hopefully advance the girls skills that have played before. Our assistant coach is James Ford, he is the dad of Maddi. Hopefully we all have a blast this year and hope to see everyone enjoy themselves. I have sent out a text to all parents already and look forward to seeing you all very soon. If you haven't noticed by the site our team colors are pink with black letters

Today was the first coaching meeting for the league. We went over rules and expectations for the girls this year.

The First practice cannot be held before April 11th.

A field cleanup day is scheduled for April 23rd at 10am for any that want to participate 

May 15th will be the preseason Jamboree we will play two games back to back
