The SkyHawks, established by former manager/player Troy McDaniel in March of 2006 as the Rossford SkyHawks Baseball Organization and then renamed The SkyHawks Baseball Club in 2011, are members of The Roy Hobbs Northwest Ohio Baseball League and The Roy Hobbs (18+) Adult Amateur Baseball League. The SkyHawks made their debut in the 2007 Roy Hobbs NWOSBL season.
James "Bubba" Brown took over as SkyHawks manager in 2019.

ROY HOBBS: A FAMILY TRADITION

Roy Hobbs NWO Baseball is a family tradition for SkyHawks Manager/Catcher Troy McDaniel and his two sons. "I've been playing Roy Hobbs ball for 11 years now and I've been waiting this entire time to play with my boys." Dad Troy McDaniel Stated. "It's one thing playing in the back yard and just throwing the ball around but when we all put on the uniform, tie our cleats and go play some real baseball together. I'm behind the plate, Austin is on the mound and Kennedy at second..it's just a dream come true. " McDaniel concluded.
