Championship Sunday in the Robert Kelly Memorial Softball League brought out the fans.  It was standing room only at IS 75 in Huguonot.  The Pre Game festivities included the induction of the 2023 HOF recipients.  

Then the games kicked off and Alexa Rose jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead with big hits from (League MVP) Jeremy Claudio, John Previti and Lance Sigman.  Mikey Bagels contributed with a sac fly.  The Mydo award winner USC Matt Giobbie showed why he was the winner and sat the next 11 batters down in a row.  USC chipped away scoring 4 in the 3rd and 2 in the 5th but it wasnt enough as Alexa Rse won 11-6. 

Game two was all about USC Jimmy Chioffi.  He shut down the vaunted Alexa Rose line up with a 9 hit shut out and scored a run.  Nick Battaglia scored 3 times in the 4-0 win. 

It came down to game three,  where series MVP Chris Garcia put on a itting displayas he blasted a HR and had 4 RBI's leading USC to the 11-6 win. 

Other key contributors forUSC in the 3 game set were the brothers Nick and Anthony Battaglia, NicK Gonchar, John Baum and Vin Garcia.
