Welcome to the HOME of Harundale Youth Sports League (HYSL). We are a youth organization created to support youth athletic teams in the Glen Burnie area. Our organization has been in existence since 1953 (OVER 60 years) offering both intramural and/or County teams in Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Football and Cheer.

We created this website to provide the latest information about our organization. We hope to keep you updated on meetings, leagues, and teams.

First and foremost THANK YOU for your continued support.  The many volunteers at Harundale work very hard to ensure that your children are provided with the best opportunity and experience possible.  With that said we can not do everything without your help.  Please consider volunteering as a Booster representative, a Coach, or to assist with prepping fields.  Registration will start at the end of January so please let someone know if you are interested.

THE EXECUTIVE BOARD

Registration will begin this Friday, February 3rd for all Spring sports.  Registration will be in person at Corkran Middle School on Fridays 6pm to 8pm and Saturdays 10am to 1pm through February 25th.  

PARKING!!!! As you know parking is always an issue at Harundale. We have limited spaces in the parking lot near the concession stand. But we do have a large overflow parking lot in front of the school with a longer walk. We know everyone wants the shortest walk possible but that sometimes doesn't work out. Please be aware of all the NO parking signs and handicap spaces. If you do park in a no parking zone you face the possibility of a ticket or even towing. These areas are marked for a reason, emergency vehicles are very large and if called they need to be able to get in and get out as fast as possible. Also please do NOT park on Elizabeth RD along the street, this will be the first area checked for illegal parking. Please remember AACO Police will be onsite each night and we don’t want them tied up with parking issues. Thank You

Whenever in doubt regarding game cancelations due the weather please remember you can always check AACO rec and parks web site. The weather cancelation link is found below. If the website reads "all fields are closed" HYSL will follow that policy. If the site reads “It’s up to the permitted organizations if the fields are playing" Please check with your coach or each individual sports link on the left side of the page.

PLEASE plan to attend our next General Membership meeting in the Corkran Middle School Classroom/Cafeteria. This meeting is important for everyone. At this meeting you can ask questions, voice your concerns, give ideas on how to improve the league or find out ways you can get involved and volunteer. Come and show your support. We have a general meeting every three months (March, June, September and December).

Football at Harundale Youth Sports League in 2016. The history and tradition of Rebels football comes to Harundale. The name will continue with a new beginning. BOOSTER HELP NEEDED!!!

If you are interested in becoming a booster or learning more about the boosters, please contact a board member from the contact list.

Please HELP and make a difference. We understand that not everyone has the time to become a full time booster. Any amount of help would be great. If you want to become a booster and support your child's youth program please contact one of our board members.

"The green and yellow paper recycling bin is dropped and located at HYSL in the main parking area behind the concession stand. This bin will be for all recyclables (plastic, paper, cardboard, and metals are part of this program). This will be another way to fundraise for HYSL and support your children's sports activities. Please save your newspapers and other types of recyclables and bring them to your next game/practice and drop them in the bin. The more support - the better the program will be for HYSL."
