Former Tri-County Players Doing Well in U.S. College Baseball
Former Tri-County Rangers players David Plotsky (left) and Derek Apa (right) are currently enrolled at Sussex Community College in Newton, New Jersey. Apa, a right-handed pitcher and outfielder, came up through the LWF association while Plotsky, a tall left-handed pitcher and first baseman, came up through Bedford minor baseball. The two former Rangers are teamates on the Sussex Skylanders Baseball team, a Division II team in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Both are doing great and have pitched a lot of innings during the fall baseball season. They are part of a strong international contingent on the team which is comprised of players from the U.S., Canada, Japan and Australia.
18U AA Tri-County Rangers Win Provincial Tournament
Congratulations to the 2024 18U AA Tri-County Rangers who won their provincial tournament this past weekend in Dartmouth. The Rangers beat the Dartmouth Arrows 14-0 and the Pictou Highlanders 12-9 in the round robin. The Rangers fell 6-2 against East Hants on Saturday evening but rebounded and prevailed over the Dominion Hawks 6-3 Sunday afternoon to setup a rematch with the East Hants Nationals in the finals. Grant Thomander pitched a masterful final allowing only 2 runs over 6 innings and striking out 7. Jack Robichaud came in to shut the door in the 7th inning to lock up the hard-fought 4-2 win. Mikey Colosimo also collected 3 hits in the Tri-County victory including a double. The Rangers will travel to Corner Brook Newfoundland and Labrador at the end of August to participate in the Atlantic Championship.
13U AAA Tri-County Rangers Win 2024 Paul "Tubby" Melanson Tournament
Congratulations to the 13U AAA Tri-County Rangers for winning the 2024 Paul “Tubby” Melanson Tournament in Moncton NB over the weekend.
The Rangers went 5 and 0 to capture the championship. They defeated a strong Eastern Express team 5 to 4 in the championship game on Sunday. Other scores were as follows:
Tri – County – 11 Miramichi – 3
Tri – County – 9 Dieppe – 5
Tri – County – 10 Summerside – 3
Tri – County – 10 Dartmouth – 3 (Semi Finals)
13U AA Tri-County Rangers Win Bubba Mac Summer Classic Tournament in Fredericton
We are thrilled to announce that the 13UAA Tri-County Rangers clinched the championship at the 2024 Bubba Mac Summer Classic Tournament in Fredericton this past weekend! 
Despite seven schedule changes due to the weather, the Rangers remained undefeated in the Round Robin. On Sunday, they faced the host team in the semi-finals, securing an impressive 11-4 victory, which advanced them to the final game against Western Valley.
With a spectacular start, they scored 5 runs in the first inning of the final game, establishing a solid lead and maintained the momentum, finishing the game with a triumphant score of 12-4.
13U AAA Tri-County Rangers Win Fredericton Invitational Tournament
Congratulations to the 13U AAA Tri-County Rangers who won the Fredericton 13U AAA invitational tournament on June 9th. They dealt with rain delays and had to play 3 games on Sunday but won the final 15-14 over Fredericton to win the gold medal game.

Bedford Days Tournament 2024
