BWC resumes the 2021-22 season and will organize a wrestling team in the Howard County Wrestling League.

One Competitive Level :  Recreational

Recreational (BWC Panthers): For wrestlers with 0-5+ years experience, who are ready for individual competition. Competition based upon age/weight/experience. (Limit 50)
Ages 6-14 (1-8 grades).

Where? Recreational team(s) compete in the Howard County Wrestling League. Matches on Saturday mornings in Howard County (approx. 8 duals, 3+ tournaments). Other optional tournaments are available. 

Practice starts week of Nov. 15

Paint Branch team (Practice nights M/Th), 6:30-8:00 pm (Coach Keith Baravik) 

Priority for team choice will be given to the first 25 who register. 

Maryland State Wrestling Association/ USA Wrestling Club Card (REQUIRED) 
Due to insurance, wrestler cannot practice without a card. 
Cards may be purchased from usawmembership.com (select $15 limited folkstyle option)

Parents must go on-line @ www.usawmembership.com. Sign in on-line/ set up an account.
Select “Burtonsville Wrestling Club” as the club of choice. Card must be printed and copy given to coach.

$15 for a Folkstyle Membership.  Select that option.

Note: a USA Wrestling card is good for 1 year and wrestler is part of the Maryland State Wrestling Association (MSWA). The card qualifies the kids for the MSWA Future Champions Novice Series, MSWA clinics, MSWA Age-Wt State Championship Series, and insurance for the wrestler and the club.
