They played with class all year long and continued to show RI why they are an elite team.
We had a good session and would like to thank all of our players and fans (even the anonymous ones)
There will be some changes for next session and we invite anyone to one of our competition committee meetings.
At the beginning of the season we had a lot of our younger and newer teams get off to a hot start and they werent afraid to tell the league how good they are. As time passed the more experienced teams started to show their dominance. There were predictions by a few new players that once the cold weather started to set in the "old meat" would be using muscle rub trying to stay loose. I guess the young boys were wrong about that as well.
In closing thank you to everyone once again and we hope that you continue to support us as we are going to start a weekday league under the lights soon.

Offensive MVP - Norm P Silverbacks - Norm is our Offensive MVP because of his 22 Passing TD's record setting season and leading his team to Back 2 Back Chips.
Defensive MVP - Jeff Moniz Untouchables - Jeff is our Defensive MVP also because of his 16 record setting season and numerous tackles and help his team get to the big game.
Most Dynamic Player - Kenny Savion Jr's Barbershop - Kenny Had an outstanding season on both sides of the ball ... He had a total of 5 Ints 7 Rushing TD's 20 Passing TD's Dude is a beast and that is why he is our Most Dynamic Player.
Championship MVP - Norm P. Silverbacks - Norm was on point yesterday leading his team to victory with his 3 passing TD's it was a toss up between him and Killa...Killa also had a good game 1 INT to the house and 2 sacks and a Catching TD .

In memory of a great man and friend to East Coast Flag Football we have decided to dedicate this opening season and every season after it to BILLY JONES. Billy was one of the forefounders helping behind the scenes and never wanted any recognition all he wanted to do is play football. So in memory of him we are also announcing that we will name our MVP award after him.

Statistics Each week stats are going to be thoroughly kept ensuring that our players are being recognized for their outstanding efforts they display on the field. These stats will be the Top 5 in the following categories: interceptions,sacks,receiving touchdowns, passing touchdowns,and rushing touchdowns,
The "Player of the Week" awards will part of the process we will incorporate to determine the Offensive and Defensive MVP's of the League.
