Call this number 2 hours before gametime for cancellation information due to bad weather. In rare cases, it will be updated 1 hour before gametime, depending on the timing of the weather. If it says "all games are on as scheduled" 1 hour before gametime, plan on your team being at the field at gametime to play ball to avoid a forfeit.
2011 Fall Ball Information
It's that time of year, already! We're in the process of gauging interest again for this fall. If your team is in again, respond to this email and we'll add you to the list! The website will slowly be updated as we approach the season. If you're a new team interested in the league, click on the email link to the left and shoot us an email.
We're going to make the cutoff date for new teams August 10th. A schedule will be posted between August 20th and September 4th. "Opening Night" will be on or around September 5th (Labor day is September 4th). Teams will play two games per week through Halloween. Costs are $110 per game per team (field fees and umpire fees). More information is available upon request. Many questions can be answered by looking at the league rules in the link to the left.
The Gunpowder Fall Baseball League is active each Fall during September and October. The league is all wood bat and is administered by Thomas Run Park at Harford Community College and features semipro level baseball talent consisting of current or former high school, college and professional baseball players .
