Division I Competition Schedule:

District 3 - Boy’s and Girl’s: Field Events on Wednesday, May 22 at 3:30 p.m., Running Event Preliminaries on Thursday, May 23 at 3:30 p.m., Running Event Finals on Saturday, May 25 at 3:00 p.m.

Regional Qualifiers: Boys and Girls - First four individuals in each event from each District will advance to the Regional Tournament at Pickerington High School North on May 29 and 31, 2013.  Boys regional qualifiers total 12. Girls regional qualifiers total 12. 

Field event order: 
Pole Vault Boys, girls to follow 
Shot Put Girls, boys to follow 
Discus Boys, girls to follow 
Long Jump Girls, boys to follow 
High Jump Boys, girls to follow 

District 3: 
Girls 1600m run no prelim (straight to finals) 
Boys 1600m run will run as a prelim 
Girls 800m will run prelim 
Boys 800m will run prelim 
There will be no boys or girls 3200m prelim (straight to finals) 

Heats and flights will be posted on www.timingfirst.com/cd1 (if you are in district 2 or 3 the last part will be cd2 or cd3) 
We will only give one heat sheet per team...please go on the site and print more off for yourself if needed.

There is a new award to be given each year to the boys and girls teams with the highest GPA. The girls XC team won the first year girls award with a 3.8 avg. Awesome job ladies!! Impressive and I am very proud of you!! Let's set a goal to win this every year!! (Guys can jump in there too).

Perseverance pays off for Kayla Scott

Generally I never cancel practice because of weather issues. We will never run outside in thunderstorms with lightning, but we will meet for our core workout and stretching and have a team meeting. Our meets could be in heat, rain, mud, wind, snow, sleet, etc, so there is some benefit to practicing in these different weather conditions as long as it is safe. If the conditions are unsafe for running outside or if it is raining at the beginning of practice, we will meet in the old gym for the start of practice. Practice might be a bit shorter if conditions are severe outside. Always check here just in case for the status of practice.
