Message from the President

Hello Families my name is Andrew Adams I am the President of Jack Barry Little League and welcome to another great season!  I am looking forward to an exciting season to serve with a great Board of Directors in hopes of offering your children a fun, educational and competitive baseball experience.  Together we are going to make this a very special season for our JBLL family.

First off I would like to thank everyone who helped make 2019 another great year.  Thank you to our wonderful Board for their hard work and dedication, our coaches for dedicating their time mentoring our kids, and our Sponsors for their generous financial support.  Please join me in thanking them and all our volunteers that allow our program to thrive.

At a time when children have many sports and activities to choose from, we are thrilled that a large number of boys and girls between the ages of four and twelve have chosen to play baseball at Jack Barry Little League.  JBLL has served the community for 70 years, providing a positive environment for the development of sportsmanship, character and athletic skill among our baseball youth.  Our program puts an emphasis on fundamentals, participation, development, teamwork, safety, family involvement, and FUN, all while developing an appreciation and love for the game of baseball. I know what a thrill it is to see your child play for the first time and watch them grow and improve through the years.  These are memories that we will all cherish and I am pleased that you too will enjoy watching your children learn baseball and grow as part of the Jack Barry Little League family.

We are all volunteers so please remember to thank your coaches, umpires, team parent, the person working the snack bar, our sponsors, or anyone playing any constructive role in this league. Thank you for stepping up. Volunteer – on or off the field, for an hour or a season, young or old, we’ll find a way you can help. Be a role model – cheer for great plays and great effort - regardless of team. Accept bad calls – they go both ways.  I only ask that everyone remembers the kids are watching us.

Whether this is your first or your final year in JBLL, I encourage you to make the most of this season for your player and your family.

Any player born August 2011 or prior MUST be evaluated.

A player's league age is determined by the age that they will be turning by August 31, 2019.  Review the 2019 Little League Age Chart for Baseball to determine your child's age at the beginning of the season and to determine their time slot below.

7 - 8 yr olds  - 1:00 - 2:00 PM

9 yr olds - 2:00 - 3:00 PM

10 yr olds - 3:00 - 4:00 PM

11 - 12 yr olds - 4:00 - 5:00 PM

$150 for league ages 12-16

$65 for Majors/Regs & Farm A players, typically league ages 8-12 for Fall

To all Jack Barry families,

As we begin to ramp up the 2018 season I am happy to announce the following changes that our board strongly believes will allow our organization to grow as well as provide a better player experience for kids and their families.

For the 2018 season Jack Barry will make the following changes:

Majors Division will expand from 3 teams to 4 teams consisting of players ages 9-12.  Any league age 9 year old that played on year in Farm A will be eligibile to be drafted to the major division.  

• Minors Farm A division will also expand from 3 teams to 4 teams consisting of players age 7-9
• Remaining minors and T-Ball will remain the same as in past years

Additional we are happy to announce a reduction in registration fees.  

2018 Fees are as follows:

Ages 4-7 will be $75, 30% redution from 2017!!!

Ages 8-12 will be $90, 15% reduction from 2017!!!

Families of 3 or more will also receive a further 10% off for each additional player.

Lets kick off the season strong as we are also offering a ONE-TIME ADDITIONAL 10% OFF if you register at Nathan Hale's Winter Wonderland Family Night, Friday, January 12th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Don't forget about our Jack Barry's winter clinic.  This  clinic has been extremely successful and is a great way for the kids to get ready for the season.  The cost will remain at $50 per registered player and will take place 1 day a week over five weeks beginning March 11th.  

We are excited about the changes for the 2018 season, continued growth of our players and of Jack Barry as an organization!!
