LIONS WIN JV CHAMPIONSHIP

Jersey Shore Arena 2/25/2017

The Lions dug deep to overcome a four goal third period deficit to win the first JV tittle in school history. When Junior Erin Campbell was forced to leave the game after being boarded, the team went on the attack. The Lions' turned it on and scored 3 power play goals in the span of 5 minutes. Then with the goalie pulled and only :46 seconds remaining Sophomore Nick Waldron buried a pass from Freshman Zach D'Andrea in the back of the net, forcing the game into Overtime. Waldron from D'Andrea would then strike again 1:23 into the OT period to give the Lions a 7 to 6 victory.
