PARENT INFORMATION SESSSION

• NOTES:
  • Come learn all about KLL and what to expect from the season and Little League in general
  • This session is strongly encouraged for parents of new and younger KLL players, however all are welcome

COACHES MEETING/TRAINING SESSSION

• NOTES: This is a mandatory training session for all volunteer Managers and Coaches; Even if you have Managed/Coached before it is a requirement to attend the annual training. It is very helpful to us if you can make this meeting so we don't have to track down Managers/Coaches individually afterwards. No Manager/Coach will be allowed to conduct any on-field activity until they have attended this training session.

SPRING 2025 BASEBALL/SOFTBALL REGISTRATION is CLOSED, EXCEPT  FOR TEE BALL.

• Spring Registration dates/fees:
  • Registration Period: 12/1/24 - 2/14/25
    • Cost is $275/pp
    • $25 discount for each additonal family member
      
  • *Waitlist* & Late Fee Period: 2/15/25 - 2/28/25
    • Even if a "waitlist" spot is offered a "roster" spot is not secured until subsequent confirmation from KLL that there is space available in the relevent division.  Please email KLLplayerReg@gmail.com with any questions.
      
    • For open spots, we will give priority to those in order of registration date on the Waitlist
    • There is a $50 late fee per player (except for Tee Ball which has no late fee)
    • Waitlist/Late Fee does not apply to Tee Ball (which will stay open through 3/31/25).
    • However, the "Uniform" disclaimer does still apply to Tee Ball (please see below).
• Uniforms: To best ensure timely uniform delivery, please register by 2/14/25. Any "late" registrants (2/15/25 or after) may have to start the season with a "like-colored" tee shirt (player provided) until the secondary order (for late registrants) comes in.  
• Swag: You can now order KLL swag (hoodies, tee shirts, hats, etc.) during the registration process! PLUS check social media for our pre-season POPUP Swag Shop running through January 20, 2025.
  
• Please check here and other social media (Facebook/Insta!) for regular updates on important dates such as: Winter Clinics, Player Evaluation Dates (AAA and above), Opening Day Festivities, etc.

• COST:  FREE to all registered KLL AAA/Majors baseball players, no advance notice or sign up needed.
  
• WHEN: 4 Weeks: W 2/26/25, W 3/5/25, W 3/12/25 and Tuesday 3/18/25
• WHERE: VMHS Lower Gym
• TIME: 6:30-7:30 pm (AAA, LL Ages 9-10); 7:30-8:30 pm (Majors, LL ages 11-12)

OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS

• Tuesday, 4/1/24 - Fields open for practices and games
  
  • Note: No formal KLL on-field activities can occur before this date
• Saturday, 4/5/25 - Opening Day Parade, Festival and Showcase Game
  • Note: Come join the entire KLL community as we march through Valhalla and down to Pat Henry Field... Opening Day ceremony, food, games, giveaways and raffles, plus our annual "Showcase Game" between two Majors Division teams.
  • Note: Due to calendar challenges with Spring/Easter break this year, our annual Opening Day "Showcase Game" will be an "exhibition" game as fields will have only opened for use on 4/1/25.
  • Approximiate Schedule (all times to be refined)
    
    • 12:45 pm - Parking begins at Valhalla MNR Station
    • 1:00 pm - All teams gather at HNJ Church parking lot
    • 1:30 pm - Parade to Pat Henry Field
    • 2:00 pm - Opening Day Ceremony (30 min max)
    • 2:30 pm - Opending Day Festival
      • Food, Games, Prizes and Concessions!
      • Complimentary Burgers & Hot Dogs courtesy of Applebees (Thank you!)
    • 3:00 pm - "Showcase Game" - 2nd Annual
      • Watch two Kensico Majors Baseball teams take center stage to start the season.
        
    • Continual Shuttle service to be provided back to MNR parking lot until 30 minutes after Showcase Game ends.
• Saturday, 5/17/25 - Picture Day [Tentative Date/Time/Place]
  • Times: Will vary per team, schedule TBD, slots usually start at 9:00 am.
  • Location: TBA
• Saturday, 6/21/25 - Trophy Day and End of Season BBQ [Tentative Date/Time/Place]
  • Note: Food, festivities, trophies and league awards to be handed out
  • Location: Pat Henry Field
  • Time: TBD, usualy starts around 10:00 am; Trophies are handed out in division order (starting from youngest to oldest); A schedule will be distributed closer to the event.

Please make sure you drive slowly down Kensico Avenue (the road leading to Pat Henry Field) and in the parking lot.  The 30 seconds you save on the way in is not worth the risk you are putting our children in by speeding.  10 mph is more than fast enough. Please remind family and friends that this is an area that requires slow driving.
