Moncks Corner BBQ Festival - November 7-8 at Regional Recreation Complex
There will be plenty of activities at the 1st Moncks Corner BBQ Festival on Friday, November 7 from 4:00pm until 11:00 pm and Saturday, November 8 from 10:00am - 4:00 pm. Food, entertainment, vendors, custom golf cart show, kids area and more. Call the Depot at 843-899-4708 for additional information or firstname.lastname@example.org. Still looking for groups to entertain and vendors.
Chili cook-off by the local banks will be held on Friday evening followed by music by the Custom 4 & Friends from 7 - 10 pm.

Mandatory CPR & AED training for ALL volunteer coaches
All volunteer coaches (head coaches and all assistants) who would like to coach in the Moncks Corner Recreation Department youth sports program MUST be certified in Cardio Pulmonary Rescusitation (CPR) & Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). The class will last approximately 2 hours. This is mandatory before you can coach, so please register now!! All fees are being paid for the Moncks Corner Recreation coaches. To sign up for the class, send an email to Matt Still at email@example.com. Matt Still, Athletic Director, will coordinate date/time/place for the training. If you are already certified, you will need to show your certification card. All other coaches in the area are welcome but must pay the $5.00 per coach fee. NOTE: Please sign up with Matt Still in advance so he can schedule you. The class will be held at the Moncks Corner Fire Department on Saturdays.

IF NOT USING RAINEDOUT.COM, the Moncks Corner Recreation Department has a Weather Hotline that Coaches, Parents, Players, Fans, etc. can call to check for any weather cancellations. This Hotline is updated daily, after 4:00 PM. If there are clouds in the area, be safe and call. 2014 Sports Programs/Events/Camps - League Rules - Policies
In an effort to better inform participants and parents, we have offered the opportunity to view our Athletic sports program registration information and rules and regulations for our athletic programs. Click Handouts under Main Menu then click appropriate section to view. You may view rulebooks for the Dixie baseball/softball leagues by going to Dixie.org and print out appropriate rule book. Updates to rules/policies will be made prior to season beginning in each sport.
