All Star Information for Coaches
With all the rain-outs we have had this week, it has been impossible to distribute the All Star handouts to our Coaches. Coaches if you did not receive it this week, go to "handouts" and choose "2012 All Star meetings". Please note you need to have your nominations turned in by May 24th. You can e-mail them to timothy.atkins@twn-mc.com or give them to the field supervisor on duty. Thank you!
Baseball/Softball Camps at Youth Fields
CSU Baseball Camp will be held June 4-7. Registration $60, ages 7-14
Berkeley High Softball Camp - June 4-7. Registration $60, ages 7-15
Berkeley High Baseball Camp - June 11-14. Registration $60, ages 6-14
Registration flyers announcing these camps will be given to coaches for distribution the week of May 14. They will be available at concession also. PARTICIPANTS FROM ALL AREAS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Any questions, call 719-7921.
Brick at Unity Park
Thinking of a way to recognize/honor a loved one or would like your name on a brick at Unity Park. You can purchase a brick for just $30 to be installed at the Park. Forms can be picked up at Moncks Corner Town Hall (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) or the Depot (Mon-Wed-Fri, 9am-3pm).

Weather Hotline
In the case of inclement weather, the Moncks Corner Recreation Department has a Weather Hotline that Coaches, Parents, Players, Fans, etc. can call to check for any weather cancellations. This Hotline is updated daily, after 4:00 PM. If there are clouds in the area, be safe and call. There have been several examples of no rainfall in town, but heavy rainfall at the Youth Field Complex. The number is 843-719-7919.
Train Depot Rental
Anyone wishing to rent out the Moncks Corner Train Depot for a wedding, reception, graduation, birthday party, etc. call 719-7900. Cost is $25 per hour or $20 per hour for non-profit organizations. Requires a $100 deposit.
Game schedules
While we make every effort not to make mistakes on this website with schedules, we ask everyone to go by the game schedules given out by the Moncks Corner Recreation Department to the coaches and not depend solely on the website. If anyone recognizes a conflict, please call Tim Atkins at 719-7921 so it can be corrected.
Severe weather warning system
For the protection and safety of all our participants, spectators and game officials, we have come up with a system to help inform you of severe weather approaching and the guidelines for departing the Moncks Corner Youth Field Complex. We appreciate everyone observing our policy. Click Handouts under Main Menu and then click severe weather warning system under topics.
2012 Sports Programs/Events - League Rules - Policies
In an effort to better inform participants and parents, we have offered the opportunity to view our Athletic sports program registration information and rules and regulations for our athletic programs. Click Handouts under Main Menu then click appropriate section to view. You may view rulebooks for the Dixie baseball/softball leagues by going to Dixie.org and print out appropriate rule book. Updates to rules/policies will be made prior to season beginning in each sport.
