The Pittsburgh Metro Baseball League (PMBL) started on the 5th day of April, 2009.  The inaugural 7 organizations (TJ, South Fayette, Eliz Forward, Belle Vernon, Robinson, McKeesport, and Bethel Park) came together on the baseball diamond to further the game of baseball in Western Pennsylvania. Organizations have come together to offer a vision of tournament level baseball to be played each spring. This commitment shall be the beginning step in developing our young athletes to compete at the high school level in the years to follow. This shall be accomplished by gathering the very best baseball players in the region and developing them into well skilled fielders, hitters, pitchers, and catchers. The season will consist of regular season games and a single-elimination playoff round to decide the champion for each age group.  The Pittsburgh Metro Baseball League will deliver sportsmanship, fair play, and a competitive atmosphere in which these young athletes can learn and develop.
