2023 Season Registration is NOW Open!!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: What ages can participate?
A: The league is open to all youth in Bartholomew County grades K-6th as of the Fall 2023 school term. Teams are divided by grade (C: K-2nd B: 3rd-4th A: 5th-6th)
Q: When does the season start?
A: We will start our 2023 season July 10th with the first games occurring the first weekend in August.
Q: What is the weekly time commitment?
A: Football Teams generally practice Monday, Tuesday & Thursday nights from 6-7:30pm (this is subject to change at the discretion of individual coaches throughout the season). Games are played on Saturdays.
Q: Where are practices/games?
A: All practices are held at Taylorsville Elementary School. Games are played at various schools within a 45 minute drive (Beech Grove, Triton Central, Indy Lutheran, Edinburgh) as determined by the CIBFL schedule. Bears "home" games are played at either Columbus North or Columbus East High Schools.
Q: What is the cost to participate?
A: The 2023 league fee is $130 per child for both football & cheer. This fee includes player jersey/cheer uniform (you get to keep!) and rental of all necessary pads, pants and helmet. Registration fees also help us cover seasonal costs such as the CIBFL membership dues, insurance, referees, field rental fees, end of season awards & banquet and other misc. season fees.
