UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA TEAM CAMP INFORMATION
All TBI teams will be participating in the 2013 USF Team Camp.
Session 1 June 21-23
6th grade, 7th grade and 9th grade (6th and 7th will compete in the JV division and 9th will compete in the varsity division.
Session 2 June 28-30
8th grade will participate in the JV division.
Team Camp Highlights
Each player will receive a team camp shirt
Each team will play 5 games plus a single elimination tournament
Awards will be given to all division champpions

UT Team Camp / Mercer University Team Camp Recap
University of Tampa Team Camp Champions JV Division
Congratulations to the 7th grade team for their outstanding perfromance this weekend. They finished the UT Team Camp with a 6-0 record. Great job beating up High School Girls.
The TBI 6th grade team also played in their first team camp playing in the JV Division. Our 6th grade girls held their own ending the weekend with a 2-2 record.
The TBI 8th grade team also held their own against High School JV teams. They finished the weekend with a 4-2 record.
Watch the 6th grade team beat Steinbrenner High School JV on a last second jump shot by Zakiyah Franklin.
Overall, TBI finished with a 12-4 record over High School competition. Remember folks, NONE OF OUR GIRLS ARE IN HIGH SCHOOL YET!
Mercer University Team Camp
Our 9th Grade TBI team traveled to Macon, Georgia to compete in the High School Varsity Division at Mercer University. They competed against some of the best competition including a couple of State Championship Teams. After dropping the first 2 games they finished strong winning their last 2 games. Overall, the 9th grade team finished with a 2-3 record.
TBI has started the recruiting process for the 2014 season. We are looking to bring in select players that have will and desire to be the best. The off-season training focuses on fundementals, conditioning and player development. This training will begin immediately after the conclusion of our season in August. In addition, TBI will be planning on having th Junior Magic Season which will allow the girls to keep their competitive edge during the off-season.
TOURNAMENT SEASON IS FUN BUT PUTTING IN THE HARD WORK IN THE OFF-SEASON IS HOW TBI IS GOING TO BECOME THE MECCA FOR GIRLS BASKETBALL IN FLORIDA!

WHY TAMPA BAY INFERNO? We are the ELITE Girls competitive basketball organization in the Tampa Bay Area. Our organization has a strong emphasis on fundamentals and developing all-around student athletes. Our program includes fundamental skills training and competitive AAU, USSSA and YBOA tournaments. Our older girls attend National exposure tournaments and are given opportunities to be scouted by college coaches and recruiters. Tampa Bay Inferno is the home to Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, and Pinellas Counties TOP Middle School and High School girls basketball players.
