BCYB is excited to present another competitive season of youth basketball. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of fun for all participants and their families, while emphasizing the keys to a healthy lifestyle. This season is bound to create many memorable moments for you and your child to share together. BCYB is happy to be the facilitator of these once in a lifetime memories. Thank you for your participation and continued support, we look forward to seeing everyone on the court and in the stands!
FALL/WINTER SEASON 2016 -17, SIGN-UPS STARTS ON THURDAYS ONLY, SEP 8TH,2016, 5:30pm - 7:30pm.
NOTE: CHATIGNY COMMUNITY CENTER STAFF WILL NOT ACCEPT BCYB REGISTRATIONs. However, a BCYB Board Member will be at the Chatigny Center IN-PERSON, ON Thursdays ONLY, starting Sep 8th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm, and ALL Thursdays thereafter. We may be able to include another alternate day at another time. We will keep you informed regarding alternate days.

Games start Friday, December 2, 2016 (however, no games/practices on Holidays or Eves)
- Note: Season is from Dec 2nd – Feb 25th, 10 Games – Rookies & D3Boys 8-9yrs/D2Girls 8-10yrs play on Fridays.
- All other divisions play on Saturdays beginning at 8:00am - 7:00pm as necessary.
- Practice starts the week of MonDAY, November 14, 2016** Start of practices vary with each team. A coach will call you once he/she coordinates their practice. Don't panic!!! Some coaches get started a week ahead of others.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
Beaumont Community Youth Basketball (BCYB) is a non-profit community organization that offers 500 children ages 5 thru High School the opportunity to participate in basketball. The league is open to children of all skill levels in the city of Beaumont and surrounding areas. Beaumont Community Youth Basketball strives to provide opportunities for personal growth and development of youth athletes, while reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to excel on and off the court. BCYB is dedicated to educating and motivating each participating member while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship and fun through the spirit of basketball. All of our directors, coaches, and staff are volunteers charged with always conducting themselves as ethical role models focused on the welfare of the children of our community.
Beaumont Community Youth Basketball has one primary goal: Reach as many kids as possible with constructive opportunities to participate in and learn the finer points of competitive basketball, as well as educational and cultural curricula to give them hope for a brighter future. We value FAIR PLAY through equal opportunities that consistently reinforce respect of all individuals involved; FUN by encouraging camaraderie and friendship; and, DEVELOPMENT of youth and their supporting networks. BCYB strives to educate and motivate each player to achieve their own individual level of success. Character development is stressed through teamwork and sportsmanship remembering that the primary goal is for the children to have fun!
