2020 Season Update

Update on the upcoming 2020 Bantam football season. The BBFL board met last night and we have all voted on having a season this year. Registration will start this Sunday (August 9th) at 4:00 at the storage unit behind BIG LOTS. Please have the registration form filled out, a copy of their birth certificate and a check for the registration fee of $60.00. You may also mail the registration form to the P.O. Box:
 
Thibodaux Bantam Football
 
Practice will start on September 1st and the season will begin October 9th. We have decided to shorten the season to only 6 games and have cancelled the All Star game. The Titans have been added to our league and we would normally play 8 regular season games. We will still have a 4-team playoff followed by the Super Bowl. The date for equipment pickup has not been determined yet. 
 
Please keep in mind that there is also a chance that the season can get cancelled. All of this is based on the Governor's decision on August 28th.We have to be in "Phase 3" to continue forward. If we are not in "Phase 3" on August 28th we will have to cancel the season. All registration fees will be refunded if the season is cancelled.
 
Please let me know if anyone is interested in coaching or volunteering for any of the teams. 
 
We also now have a Viking Facebook page. You can find our Facebook page by searching "Vikings Cheerleaders". The page is in the process of being changed to "Thibodaux Vikings".
 
I want to thank everyone for being patient through this time. I am trying everything to have a season this year. I will keep everyone posted if anything changes but as of now we are planning on playing.

Congratulations to ALL the 2019 Bayou Bantam Football League Teams for a GREAT season. At this time the BBFL would like to announce it's Super Bowl results.

I would like to congratulate the Thibodaux Vikings "A" Team's players, coaches and fans on their 2018 Undefeated Championship Season! I would also like to thank the VIKINGS cheer teams for filling the year with team spirit and displaying signs and performing during all halftime shows. 

 Great job to all the players, coaches, cheerleaders and volunteers!!!! What an Amazing 2019 Season!
