VAA Cheering Mission Statement
Support, Hard Work and Spirit remains the mission of the Varina Athletic Association(VAA) cheer squad with a renewed sense of enthusiasm, pride, teamwork and integrity. We will strive to instill honor, commitment and pride in our squads and in each other. We will build a solid foundation based on trust and loyalty. We will work to be organized, consistent and supportive to make this an exemplary cheer program and a competitive experience for all.
VAA Cheerleading Purpose
VAA Cheer is an exciting way to teach the young athletes involved in our cheerleading program how to work together to reach a common goal. The time, effort, physical training, workouts and practices involved in learning to become a team and master a skill instills pride and self respect in all our participants.
All VAA Coaches are offered adequate training in order to provide a safe environment for all our cheerleaders. All cheerleaders and coaches are expected to show pride and respect to themselves, all participants and the program at all times. Most IMPORTANTLY, we want to have FUN!
