West Shore Football Fall League 2014

Rosters can be found on the menu at the top left side of this page. Please find the name of your team, then see below for your Week #1 (November 1) scheduled time. The full season schedule will be emailed out next weekend. We did our best to honor all requests, but in some cases, teams were full and some of the requests did not match up.

**Week 1 is a practice/scrimmage. Take as much time as you like during the hour to practice with your team. When both coaches are ready, you can scrimmage the team that is sharing the field with you. The refs (along with myself and Dan) will be there to help answer any questions and will help run the scrimmage.

***Game Shirts will be passed out before the first actual game in Week #2 (Nov. 8). Just wear t-shirts and shorts for week #1. Cleats are allowed!

****Coaches needed: If your team does not have a coach listed on the roster yet, please let me know if you are interested. A coaches email will be sent out this week with the rules and points of emphasis. If you would like your team emails, please send me an email requesting them.

*****Fields 1-4 will be on the right side as you enter the main hallway, with field 1 closest to the main desk. Fields 5-6 are on the left side, closest to the main desk (this is a change from years past as we used to use the 2 fields in the back).

-A reminder will go out later in the week, along with any other info I may have forgotten to send. Thanks.

This league was started by two dads with sons that love to play football. With very few options to play football outside an 8 week league in the fall at the YMCA or our local rec department in Bay Village, we decided to start our own league. And what better way than an indoor league in the spring on brand new field turf. We have also added a fall session that starts up when all the local rec leagues finish up. My name is Pat Nolan and I live in Bay Village and have been involved with numerous football leagues, including an adult flag football league I ran for 5 years in Cleveland. My partner is Dan Buttari and is a teacher and football coach in Avon Lake. We plan to have a well organized, fun, and competitive flag football league geared towards young kids in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. We have an awesome facility to play the games. The Force Indoor Sports Complex in Rocky River is the old River Oaks Racquet Club. They have transformed it into a multi-use sports complex with brand new field turf, and we could not have found a better place to host our youth league. If you have any questions or concerns about this league, feel free to give either myself or Dan a call.

If we are unable to answer immediately, please leave a detailed message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you
