Yellow Springs Youth Baseball

Join us for a season of summer recreational baseball in Yellow Springs!

Here's what you need to know for the 2025 season:

Ages

Yellow Springs Youth Baseball is a recreational coed league for all children ages 7-15.

The objective of YSYB is to foster interest in baseball and promote the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority. 

For 2025, we will have three divisions:

• Majors (15U)
• Intermediate (12U)
• Minors (9U)

Note the age groups have changed this year:

• Majors division is now open to 15 year olds and will play on a full-sized field.
• Intermediate is for ages 10-12 and will play with official Little League Rules.

Location

All games and practices are held at Gaunt Park in Yellow Springs.

Fees and Early Bird Discount

• Fees: $50 per player. Parents may pay online or by cash or check at in-person registration.
• Early Bird discount: Register before Sunday, March 2, 2025, and receive a $10 discount per player.
• Late registration: An additional $10 fee will apply to registrations after April 28, 2025.
• Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available. If you need a scholarship, please select the “scholarship” option during registration.

Season Dates

• Sunday, April 20: Skills clinic and evaluations
• Late April/Early May: Practices begin
• Late May – July: Games
