CYO Basketball Website

The CYO Basketball Program and the Archdiocese of Baltimore has adopted additional coaches training requirements.

In the 2024-2025 Archdiocese of Baltimore Basketball handbook, on page 2 it specifies the training requirements.  CYO basketball will require two forms of training for coaches, which are:

1. VIRTUS - Click on Handouts and click on the training for child protection, 

2. PLAY LIKE A CHAMPION TODAY- The Coaches Training Certification will be the University of Notre Dame's Play Like a Champion Today training.  To schedule training for your program, please reach out to Tony Blackburn at anthony.blackburn@archbalt.org

This training is good for 3 years.  We are anticipating a refresher after the 3-year expiration date.
