Bob Roe

Owner/General Manager/Manager

916-606-9459

After guiding the Dodgers to a 16-4 record in 2007, managing the National League to a win over the American League in the All Star game and winning the National League crown, Roe guided the Dodgers into 2008 and finished with a regular season record of 10-9-2, and a loss in the playoffs. Roe stepped down as the manager of the Dodgers and accepted an assistant coach position with Vince Miles and the 38AA Champions, Sacramento Dodgers. Roe finished with a 29-31-2 regular season record and a 1-3 record in the playoffs and 1 All Star game win. 2009 saw Roe play a few games in the field, coach first and third base and manage a few games in Vince Miles absence. The 2009 Sacramento Dodgers made the playoffs before losing in the first round, almost overtaking the favored Braves, 15-11. 2009 marked the third straight year the self-proclaimed "Big Dog Daddy" has made the playoffs. Looking to get back in the drivers seat, Roe brought back the Rancho Cordova Dodgers onto the Sac NABA scene for 2010. Starting out 1-7, things looked bleak for the Dodgers manager and his ballclub. But a strong finish, ending the season at 10-11 and in fourth place, enabled the Dodgers to make the playoffs for Roe's 4th consecutive year. 2011 saw Roe guide his RC Dodgers to a 11-7-1 record, a 3-1 record in the playoffs and the 45A League championship over the division winning Mudville Nine, 2 games to 3, giving him his first League title as a manager. In 2012, Roe's Dodgers started slowly, 1-6 but finished with a flurry, going 9-4 for a final record of 10-10. Just missing the playoffs for the first time since 2006, the Dodgers looked to rebound in 2013. Roe guided the team to back-to-back championships in 2014 and 2015.
