Paul is a 1982 alum of St. Laurence HS. He has been involved with grade school volleyball organization in the Southland for over 25 years, but has played volleyball since the 1970's as a grade school student at St. Agnes in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood. As SSBVL Moderator, Paul serves as a public face and spokesperson for the league as well as a spiritual mentor for the league and Executive Board. He also serves as Chair of the Conciliation/ Reconciliation Committee of the SSBVL and supervises the work of the webmaster. Paul is currently the Athletic Director at Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, IL after serving at Brother Rice High School for 25 years as a theology and history instructor, KAIROS retreat leader, Peer Ministry teacher, Edmund Rice Youth Group and Camp, and the Head Volleyball Coach at Brother Rice HS- a program he founded in 1992 and coached until 2014.
